Well as most of you know by now Dell is a very high beta stock and will become quite volitile over the next month as is usual for summer time. Now that it is trading in 1/16ths it is easier to short and hence, even a better day trading stock than before with a low cost for getting in and out. As there are so many day trading this stock successfully I thought a site away from the chatter of the other threads would be good. Hopefully, those of you who have been making the calls will continue to do it here and over time we will begin to discover who seems to have the best knack of making the right day trade calls and we can continue to make a lot of money together whether this stock moves up or down. I hope, though I have yet to see this happen on a thread, we can stay to the point and keep things short and timely. The ground rules are: 1. It doesn't matter if your a long or a short so don't interject biased opinions, if you feel a need to vent go to the other threads. 2. Only quote real time bid/ask and mention where the quote is from (NASDAQ Level II, E-Trade, Schwab, etc.)at the time you send the message and keep comments short so we get the info fast. We most likely will determine that a quote is about 2-5 minutes old by the time we read it. 3. Obviously people will try to get their trade in prior to making a call here but over time I think we will see who makes the best calls and base some of our decision on that call so don't try to go opposite of what your doing because we'll figure it out soon enough and put you in that big money category we're competing against. 4. If your using a technical indicator like stocastic, momentum, etc. let us know and mention the time frame your looking at (i.e. 1,2 or 3 day moving average, etc.) 5. This does not have to be restricted to single day but it will most likely be less confusing for everyone if we do. Multiple day can be more profitable but I personally don't like to keep my day trading stocks over night due to bad/good news in the after markets. Please limit your time cycle of to within a ten day period max. so we can maintain this sight for short term only. The other Dell thread is great for longer term calls. Last, if you have ideas on how to make this site work better bring them up so we can continue to modify this for the best results without having to use an irc chat room. Best of luck to all, Craig Oh ya, yes I do financial planning and I would not recommend this to my clients. This is for money you can afford to lose. | ||||||||||||||
