Hi Kirk,

Cool recollections.

I'm optimistic that repatriation of foreign profits will be allocated to all but 100% robotic fabs that will produce chips at a very ultimate efficiency.

There would be coders and maintenance people.

I envision these robotic fabs to be ultra competitive and yet providing very good , high paying jobs.

Having seen the robots take over auto plants in the US, I think it can also be applied to the high content, low node size chips. Certainly optic / digital chips will continue to advance.

Light (photons) is so much faster than electrons and with out heat.

Cohu's expertise is removing heat during the testing of chips - as light displaces electrons they may well be engineered out of the plan - but hat has been a long term fear of mine and it is out quite a ways still.

Your initial studies were and will be a long term mega trend!!

Bob
