I was induced to get vaxxed, against my will, by my adult children who live out of state. They threatened they would never visit home while their mother and I remained unvaccinated.

I took the first Moderna vaxx before discovering the link between the vaxx and Myocardits/Pericarditis. Those who have had these infections are at increased risk for having them again. As I was once hospitalized for a suspected heart attack at age 43, ultimately diagnosed as Pericarditis, I refused further Covid vaxxes. Fortunately, my children understood and were accepting of this. My wife had two shots by demand of her employer, but they never followed-up concerning boosters, do she didn't have any.

Unlike our children, many friends, and acquaintances who lined-up for all Covid shots and boosters, my wife and I have never had Covid. And this is despite not changing our social and shopping habits to avoid exposure.

Dumb luck? I don't thinks so. We take vitamin E supplements*, avoid sugar and processed foods, and get plenty of exercise. Good, basic health and nutrition habits that should be more widely adapted.

* Many years ago I was diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease. At that time, my doctor urged me to supplement with vitamin E, as most all people with chronic infections test low on this infection-fighting vitamin. So, yes, you can take over-the-counter pills to suppress chances for infection. Zinc and Cuercetin help too, as does vitamin C.
