The purpose of this board is to share information about the COVID-19 virus which Dr. Anthony Fauci indicates came to us from China. Open polite discussion from all viewpoints are welcome. Scare tactics are not welcome. This board is a place to discuss the origins of the pandemic (China), the heroic efforts of our frontline healthcare workers and first responders who are dealing with the day-to-day challenges, potential lifesaving drugs that can alleviate or reverse the symptoms of the afflicted (such as Hydroxychloroquine), the successes and failures of our politicians and institutions, both domestic and international, the economic consequences, both macro and micro of the pandemic and perhaps most importantly, the fact that a vaccine is a currently an uncertain proposition. Politics are an inevitable part of the discussion because many of our local and state political leaders have failed us and continue to fail us. I would just ask that everyone be civil to one another and realize that not everything is black and white. Since this is a Biomedical Board and this is an investing forum, feel free to note companies that may profit from what is happening and those that are abusing the situation and deserve to be shamed by the public and the investment community. | ||||||||||||
