Okay, I am NEW on this thread. Can some one explain to me how the networjkk computer is going to work and why people will want to buy it versus a regular desktop.
What OS are they going to use. I have heard a lot of rumors that NT's security is not as good as a UNIX based OS and many companies will choose to use Apple's Rhapsody. Is there any truth to this? Rjhhapsody is supposed to be a cross platform OS that can run on Intel chips as well as Motorola Chips, etc.
Please tell me if any of this is incorrect. I am not terribly knowledgegable in this field but wish to become so.
Can some one tell me how close I am.
Please e-mail m4e at info3@ix.netcom.com
I would really appreciate any answers/explanations anyone may have!
Thanks!
Richard
