Let's Talk About NCs: Network Computers

corel, toshiba, sun, oracle, ibm, intel, kona, lotus, apple, compaq, nec, novell...

The list goes on and on, and it is seemingly getting longer each week. All of these are companies or subsidaries which have a large role in the development and/or manufacturing of network computers, or NCs.

This is a general forum to discuss anything related to them, such as:

Which platform will rule?
Which company will rule?
Are there any sleeper companies no one knows about?
Are they the cornerstone of tomorrow's technology, or will they die quickly?

Like I said, general discussion. Feel free to just post news releases or links to them...anything relevant, as long as you follow what the thread title suggests...
