I was following a 320i going about 60 mph on a 4 lane south of Pittsburgh. A guy crossed 3 lanes and hit this young girl head on. His car flipped and landed across the road. The girl pulled to the side of the road, opened the door and walked out. She was shaking like a leaf, white as a ghosts and not a scratch on her. No airbags, just a set belt. The front of the car was pushed underneath the passenger compartment. I got in the car and from the cabin you could not tell it was hit. She'd have been killed in another car. The driver of the other car was alive and kicking....literally. He was head 1st on the passenger side stuck where your feet normally are. His head was cut from the taking out the rear view mirror. Shortly thereafter, I traded my Audi for a 535i. This was 1992. SHootie
