Good question: I don't know. The company hasn't put out much news; and, except for this thread and a direct call to the company, there isn't much information available on ISDN. The OEN site has three samples and some old press releases, and the ISDN corporate site focuses on their ISP business and doesn't suggest how rich their technology is. To date, the PR effort has been underwhelming, to say the least.
The puzzler to me is that TMex put this stock in play earlier this month, and I'd have figured more people would have learned enough about the company to generate some ongoing interest. What Dave said about TMex probably applies to most of the people he brought over at that time: didn't do DD, just saw how small the float is and figured they could make a quick momentum play on it. When TMex turned out the lights, maybe they just moved on without ever taking a look at what ISDN is doing.
I don't know--. Certainly, my own enthusiasm is tempered by a sense of the risks here. This is a BB company with sketchy financial info (though on track to become a reporting company). Its markets (audio and video technology, entertainment, conferencing) put ISDN up against a number of heavyweight competitors. At this point, I wouldn't invest money I can't afford to lose. But, even holding these cautions in mind, the potential upside looks quite substantial to me, and I have decided it's worth assuming some risk.
I'm prepared to give this story some time to unfold; I'm not treating it as a day trade or a short-term momentum play. |
