No one knows what the future will bring. One thing we do know however is that this will be a huge industry. Every POS terminal in the country will eventuly have some sort of device, many placed that use access cards to unlock doors and gates will switch to this type of system. It only a matter of time until One of the large manufacturers comes in and is licensed to produce the equipment on a large enough
scale and at a cost that the market is willing to accept. I believe this will happen with the advent of finger prints on checks and credit cards. No large data base need be kept only a reader that can verify that the print on the card or check is a match. You could go on and on with possibilities. I have faith in this company because of the way its management has kept it in existence over the past few years.
They are not in it for the quick buck but to really develope their product. The test that they will have to pass is the Management growth that comes along with sucess many small companies lose themselves at this point. This is where their business plan and a having a large partner with a international distribution network is the way to go. I do not know if IBM would be that partner because they are probable working on a system of their own. If however if they find that they cannot find a way to patten the technology themselves they will do a joint venture with someone. Their joint ventures in recent years have been fruitful for the small companies.
