M. Friedman, didn't I respond to another unintelligent post that you made on one of the SUNW threads?

The fact is, with a book value of close to 5, Borland could liquidate it's assets and generate more cash than you seem to think it could get in a buyout. Quite a steal to buy a company for ~150 million (in stock swaps), take Borland's 84 million in cash, sell the assets, pull in A/R and payoff the debt for a net gain of another 100 million or so (probably more if liquidated cleverly).

Seems to me that whoever pulls that stunt off should get some sort of scam artist award.

Didn't your mother ever tell you to think before you spoke? It works the same way with a keyboard and the internet, it's just harder to avoid..
