Hi George, I'm Lola the anti-procrastinator. I once did a whole year of French in high school in one long weekend ... that's right one year's worth of work in 3 days. I didn't sleep much at all but I did finish in 3 days. It was a special high school where you could do whatever the hell you wanted.

I believe that procrastinating about certain things in life can prove to be very productive.

Here is what I do not procrastinate about:

- development of a good business idea

- making a good trade

- giving to a person in need

Here is what I do procrastinate about because I think it is pretty harmless:

- cleaning the house ... I almost never do this ... when it gets disgusting enough I know my husband will clean it

- cooking ... my husband cooks or we would starve

- grocery shopping ... same as above ... somebody will do it before I starve ... that's my husband again

- deciding ahead of time what I'm going to wear to a meeting or a party ... my husband usually does this also ... I open the closet and he pulls out some stuff and I put it on. I have a lot of nice things so I don't have to worry that I'll look good.

So procrastinating about certain things can free you up to do other things which are more important. The key is to manage procrastination and not let it manage you.

Lola:)
