I procrastinate. I have always procrastinated. From trying to make up for a whole semester's unread assignments in a single NO-DOZ night before the final exam, to having promised myself to get my cabin (which is how I view my efficient, but very tiny, living quarters) shaped up in April 1998 - and still saying I'll do it tomorrow. Is procrastination harmless, harmful, lethal. Are there ways to overcome it. What prices have we paid because of it? Or do we only do it when it's not going to cause damage? I'm seventy. In truly great physical condition. But, I am allowing deterioration to set in by putting off a daily walk and simple exercise till tomorrow. Is it possible that procrastination can have severe negative effects on various aspects of our lives? Or, are we 'too smart' to actually let that happen? Don't put off contributing to this thread till tomorrow. | ||||||||||||
