They can be subject to emotional and inflexible thinking on occassion too. You cannot blame them for being skeptical about agricultural prices ever rising again for long. They've had some very hard times for the past 20 years.. that's a generation in most books. The past 20 yrs. were not ideal for farming as an occupation.
