Hi Bernie, I was always suspicious that you were a "slinger!" :-) No fun being tied down like that, but follow the doctor's orders and also the therapy that they suggest.

The place to edit the Price/share of UOPIX is in the stock history files in Newport. If you use WINDOWS Explorer, find were you have your Newport files and click on the *.HST file for UOPIX. It will bring up the "Comma Delimited" history of your account.

REMEMBER, don't change ANYTHING other than what you need to.

You'll want to find the prices in each date line and change them to show the correct price as if the split had occurred back then. You'll also need to change the number of shares in each date line of the history.

Once you've done all this, then SAVE it (it will probably open in NotePad or WordPad) and then go back to your Newport and see what the results look like.

I don't know what differences there are in our accounts. I did miss a couple of good trade days and just got "okay" trades back last spring. I also let the Cash Reserve sit near the 50% mark for a long time. I've been pulling "vealies" with it recently and letting the cash get diluted. Also, I've not added in any interest to the Cash side of the account. That has been syphoned off for the alumni's expenses.

Heal quickly,
Tom
