Cool topic, despite the obvious advertisment for Mpath. I've been shopping around for a decent online game--especially if I can get my email and chat all in one stop (read:one subscription). I always liked RPGs (Role Playing Games for you non-gamers) even though I was never into D&D etc. Apparently there have been things called MUDS and MUSHES around for quite awhile in the online gaming world--but this is not too attractive to the general public. 1st person shooters are more popular...DOOM was really great on the LAN and if you dont have a LAN to play on the internet works too apparently.

Anyway, we have heard a lot about online communities--and the gaming communities are one of the best expressions of that idea. Chat areas and message forums like this are another.

So here is what would be cool: You log on to your favorite ISP or gaming service--chat with your internet buddies, play a little doom or an RPG, send your robot out to collect the news your interested in while your online (they have a name for that idea --I know), read your email etc etc all in one place. Oh yeah, the robot is called intelligent agent I think--why cant your ISP be an intelligent agent for you? Hmmm.

So...is there a place you can do all that? I really like my ISP, but I dont know anybody there who has my interests--I used to have AOL but they didn't have games, although the chatting feature was great (free to my Hawaii buddy!).
