Thanks for pointing out that Dick Cheney is at the top. I had forgotten that. HAL is a large, well-managed and well positioned company. Like all drillers and tool suppliers they move up and down with the price of oil. You can't go wrong buying it at this price because it is so beaten down. Since little drilling is going on right now, when oil supplies are short again there should be a nice spike in the price. Will it be three months, six months or longer? Extended violence in the middle east could cause a spike too. Me? I'm long HAL and also Parker Drilling because of the bargain-basement prices.
