The last posts would be easier to detect as potential hypesters if SI publically displayed the IP address in the posting (or at least part of it 3 of 4 numbers, etc. To get an idea of what I am talking about take a look at Message 6949191 and then give it a try by clicking on the 'biography there' and following to see what happens. Although not guaranteed for dial-ups, it could play a role in detecting fraud. For example if a bunch of hyping was going on all from the same ISP, chances would be high that its the same person. Another interesting thing would be if SI provided a 'search by IP' function. That might prove to be of interest too. David
