Hello Isaac, I am new to technical analysis but was referred to a very interesting site: thegroup.net It contains numerous articles and information. One series of articles deals with the "Midas" method of analysis which is founded on the use of volume data relative to price. Rather than charting price vs. time as is usually the case, the Midas method uses price vs. volume, with specially derived indicators applied to the resulting charts. My problem is finding a charting program that allows you to plot volume on the y axis. From what I hear of Metastock its a real work horse. Windows On Wallstreet also seems to have a loyal if new following. I don't know if either will permit plotting price against volume but will post the answer here. NightOwl.
