Hi Bill, I don't think anyone really expected the BioTech
Boom-lette that we're currently seeing. The dollars I have
in that area had been sitting dormant for literally years.
The potential hadn't changed, so I'd been content to
use AIM and trade around the core holdings of each of these
stocks.

By late 1998 all of my positions in biotech had fully
utilized their respective cash reserves. For most of 1999
I'd not had a chance to have AIM sell any of those shares
either. Now, in just a few months these investments have
gone from being naked of Cash Reserve to being fully
funded. All are at about 50% cash now and near enough to
what the Idiot Wave is suggesting that I'm now pulling
'vealies' on a regular basis.

Here's the results for February of the following years:
Stock 1998 1999 2000
-----------------------------------------------
Symb. Gain/Loss Gain/Loss Gain/Loss
CHIR +103% +130% +306%
CSON N.A. +29% +99%
GENE +137% +35% +1143%
NERX -27% -66% +102%
------------------------------------------------
% of VIEW
Assets 9.5% 8.7% 25.8%

So, a modest portion of my portfolio has suddenly become a
significant portion with over 1/4th of my portfolio now
committed to BioTech. Please note that AIM has half of that
commitment shifted to the CASH column, as well!

Best regards, Tom
