Hi Bernie,

Thanks for reminding me about my emotional factor. I actually called Waterhouse about selling some portions of the funds Friday. For some reason I had it in my mind that I had to phone the sell orders in and they told me I could process them on line over Web broker.

I guess it is another case of trying to time the market. From the Money Show in Orlando I gathered that the Smart Money is expecting a slow down from now through late summer. Those thoughts are what got me to thinking that it was probably wise and timely to take some AIM directed profits on the funds.

I think I will take the time as Tom suggested and determine the correction factor for the Value, Leaders and Innovators Funds for August to October down-turn in 1998. I do remember that it was a depressing time for me, not so much because of the devaluation of my holdings but because I had no reserves.

I want to compliment you on your post # 10367.

I feel that your devil's advocate approach for the BB education on AIM is very healthy for those of us that tend to what to wade out in the water maybe a little further than we should. I for one always appreciate and look further to your future posts. I'm not brown nosing you, I just like to see all sides of the issues and value yours as well as the others.

I have to laugh at myself based on this well worded statement.

When you sell 15 shares at 65 and two hours later sell 16 shares at 69 what you are doing is reducing your profits and increasing your expenses.

I actually had that happen to me a couple of weeks ago and it was really unintentional on my part. I just got in a hurry. I had a sale so I updated Newport and looked at the next recommended sell. Well I still had Web Broker up so I decided since I was already there it wouldn't hurt anything to go a head and place the next GTC order. It tripped 10 minutes latter and I knew then that I was getting ahead of the system once again.

I was really looking forward to meeting you in Vegas, hope another chance comes a long in the future.

Keith
