Yup, I agree.
Natural gas as a back up to renewables is THE CORRECT final solution that needs to implemented on a national basis.

I'd also like to see more $ into safe nuclear fission and of course very safe fusion.

Last year PG&E went by zip code for turning off power. I share mine with Los Altos Hills that has some homes high in the hills where they shut off power. At the time, they said they would shut all our power off and I had a hard time sleeping wondering how to prepare.... start eating my food saved in the freezer for emergencies, etc.. etc... very stressful.

Then I got the idea to buy a generator, I bought a nice Honda and suddenly good sleep returned. Much cheaper than therapy and safer than sleep meds!

The Honda has a recall, something about salt water could cause a short, but since I don't use it on a boat, I haven't been in a hurry to get it fixed. I've had it a year and have yet to put oil and gas into it. Maybe I should but I can't see the harm in waiting either. I'll give them a call this week and ask about the recall and not testing it before I need it.
