Art Historians ain't where it's at, is it? Nice to think you know something. I guess all the home economics classes were full when you picked a major. I don't use a Latin dictionary so it is possible you may be correct, I remember what I learned about twenty years ago. I was using the past participle of praevaricari, praevaricatus to denote one who has lied in the past combined with maximus, the greatest. If I am wrong, that's one point on minutiae for you and a couple thousand on substance for me. Btw, Mediaeval Latin is very different from real (classical) Latin.
