Well, my Dad is on the club seat waiting list. Today he got in the mail an offer to purchase two club seats, if they are available. Meaning that if they fill up prior to getting to his number, it is a no go, but if there are seats still available when his number is up, he can get seats.

Now the hard part. Seats cost anywhere from $175 to $225 per seat for 10 games. They are scheduled to increase at 6% per year after the first two seasons. The contract is a five year contract. SO you are making a substantial committment.

We are considering finding other people who would be interested and going in on the seats. Then I look at it....if we got the $175 seats, that is $350 just to go see a game. Plus driving headaches, costs of beer and food etc....

Heck, I think perhaps sitting in my living room and watching on TV is a fine thing. I think I am beginning to sour on the overpaid prima donas......

Well, going to sleep on it a bit, but it sure is a lot of money for some of them that don't put out full effort and complain about how much they make.

Wonder if my feeling this way is just me, or do others feel the same? Has the NFL reached its peak?
