Graystone,

I think I see your point.

Hear are a few thought that I had on the whole matter.
Christians are lost in the reality of their faith. The culmination of future events is already settled and is already an absolute reality in theirs minds, and they cannot seriously entertain any other reality. For the Christian, Jesus has validated the prophetic utterances of the past and has already revealed and guranteed the future.
There was a time during my pagan years that I could have entertained the pagan ideas, but now I must strain my intellect to get glimpses of a "pagan reality" I once shared. These perceptions are foolish to me now because I live in the reality of Christ who is the same past, present and future.
Christians live in an eternal now and their faith permits them to see beyond the dimensions of time called past, present and future in a way that merges the dimensions.

The pagan has only sense knowledge to determine the future and consequently must wait for the future to occur to validate his perceptions and beliefs.

Christians have the eyes of faith, and the revelaton knowledge communicated to their spirits by the Holy Spirit of God permitting them to see validate events beyond the boundaries of time.

These are two completely opposite world views and probably and probably the cause of some of the bitter disputes on SI.

Regards
Emile
