| Graystone, you might try serving the broccoli drenched in cheese sauce, or raw with a yogurt or sour cream dip your child likes. My mother pretended the broccoli spears were little trees, and made them dance towards my brother's mouth and then try to jump in. But he was much too smart for that.
No child is going to like all vegetables. Like potty training, once it becomes a battle of wills, you have lost the war. I always gave mine the appropriate vitamins for her age level, so that I knew she was getting the proper nutrients, and cut up plenty of raw assorted vegetables to snack on, served one or two lightly steamed at dinner, but then let her make her own decisions after she had taken a bite. Children's tastes change, so I still insist she take a bite every six months or so of foods she rejected earlier, but that is all. Sometimes her opinions have changed, and then we are both happy.

I also have bowls of fresh fruit everywhere, and often slice some up for fruit plates and fruit salads. For dessert, I will sometimes make fruit salad and put a scoop of softened sorbet on top. Really, if your children love fresh fruit the vegetables will come in due time, and if they don't, everyone will still be plenty healthy.

I am too tired to talk about anything else, especially Dwight or Ask God. I do think it is important that people other than conservative Christians maintain a presence over there, however.

I think I'll go to bed. Goodnight!!
