I don't need your respect and I'm sure I would not get it unless I earn it. I want you to refrain from lumping all lawyers together. I don't work on a contingent fee basis but I can see how they do prompt a lawyer to take a case with more economic risk than he might otherwise be willing to accept. Most people are motivated by their own self interest. There are few Mother Theresa's. That is human nature. However not all contingent fee cases are bad either. I sleep quite well thank you. Are there no incentive based forms of compensation in your business? What exactly is your business? JLA
