Hello all:

Well, I finally got a little cash back over the last few days. Let go of 6% of my COMS @ 65 9/16 and 16% of VITR. My strategy at this point (due to lessons well learned) is to get my cash reserve back up to IW levels. Currently I'm at 2.5%. With the additional rollover coming, and an anticipated sell in GADZ, I should be around 40% within the next month.

My total AIM value has been on a roller coaster since I started last November. In March (before the corrections), I was up 53%. Since then, I was as low as -3%, and as of yesterday's close I am currently up 26%! I like the upside better.

Interesting conversations on entry points. I agree that with 20-20 hindsight, one can prove just about anything. It's a lot less predictable when you put your own retirement monies (accumulated over 30 years) on the line. Simulations are great, but real experience is a better instructor (see first paragraph).

RL's theoretical example will always show best returns when entering at the high. Bernie proved this to be true last year when he did the original simulation sets. RL's whole premise was to make a million without the stock ever going higher than your original purchase. It was his 'hook' on the infomercial and in his books. Everyone must agree that from a marketing standpoint it was indeed an effective hook. It sure got my attention!

Regards, Happier in Halfway
