You know Janice, I am becoming more and more convinced that Starr has done an excellent job of protecting his case. I see no problem with them checking the book purchase records. Nobody was complaining when Timothy McVeigh's reading material was scrutinized and made public. It could be something as simple as gathering corroborating evidence. Let's say she tells Linda Tripp on the tape she used a particular book as a, um, guidebook, for her boinking of the Prez. If she ever gets to the point of sworn testimony, it would just be more evidence to supplant the case, if she denies her taped conversation. She's obvious got diarrhea of the mouth, so she's probably given lot's of avenues of exploration for the Starr team.
