You talkin' ta me? What makes you think I follow beauty pageants, (was it my tiara?) David, I have found beauty pageants a study in moronic, bubbleheaded behavior from day one. But of course, we all know, Miss America isn't a beauty pageant, it's a simply a device to hand out scholarships to deserving young women<g>. Imagine the chancellor of any university lining up the female applicants in "evening wear" and "swim suits" before deciding who gets the nod.....But I have trouble with any competition that uses subjective judging to select the winner. bp
