FOLLOW THE MONEY! Funny coincidence. Today while Reading " Order to Kill: A Novel (15) (A Mitch Rapp Novel)" book on tape on my hike... it was written in 2017... I had to chuckle at how much smarter the "real Russians" are than this. The premise is the Russian president leads the effort to steal the fissionable material from six Pakistani nukes that they give to the Iranians to make dirty bombs to take out the Saudi oil fields. The reason is Saudi Arabia pumps enough oil to keep the price low enough so alternative energy is not an affordable alternative and the US investors won't risk investing on wells that cost $40 per barrel to get the oil if the Saudis can pump enough to get the price to $30... These low prices crush Iran and Russia, who rely mostly on energy exports.... After Russia gets enough money from the higher priced oil, they can then afford to reclaim the independent states that left the USSR when the price of oil last crashed and bankrupted the USSR. Who knew that all they REALLY needed was for the US and Europe to get so into renewable energy that they would forget to have an alternative for the transition thus causing oil prices to rise and Russia to have enough oil profits to invade Ukraine. Interesting story but I still believe the Russians are behind a lot of this climate change, BLM, Trump Won the Election and other social media hysteria that ousted Trump and will probably keep him out as he lost so many moderates over how he didn't tell the peaceful protestors who turned into rioting insurrectionists to stand down. Remember Trump decimated the Russians with his policies that had the price of oil significantly lower than under Obama.
