Derek, guess we've figured out how 3COM is solving the inventory problem. They are mailing them to guys like me. They said "When you place your order, we will ship you a new modem with a software CD-ROM, installation instructions..." in my post: Message 3578677 I bet they send me an x2 modem they got back from Best Buy then tell me how to download the V.90 code. Pretty smart! o~~~ O
