Randy,

>> there's much more to trading than yelling 'KAHUNA' once a week just to see it miss the village time and time again.

You're absolutely right.

>> If you were a weather man you'd have thousands of people boarding up their windows and fleeing your community on a continuous basis and after a while they'd stop listening.

Well, I'm not the weather man. I just post my opinion on SI with maybe too much certitude.

>>why do you never supply any reasoning for your dooms day figures and time frames - or is it just something you kind of 'feel' under your fur?

and then continued to explain my views.
See posts #2550 #2554 #2624 #3532 #3561 #3606 #3730 and many others on that thread and time frame.
Evantually Tom was right- the August top was only a mid term top and not the long term top I thought it was.
I used EW count and pattern recognition to predict the LT moves.
Here's the latest EW count I subjected on SI

Indeed I was shouting Wolf on and off for the last year and a half. I do believe it's the greatest equity bubble of all time (35% of households own equities vs. 3% of households in 1929) and I can't help shouting wolf from time to time, when I think WE'RE THERE.

You can find more on my economic reasoning if you browse thru the Big Picture thread (not many posts there).

In the land of the blind, the one eyed person shorts too soon.
