Wouldn't it be wonderful if all tax was collected via consumption (vat or gst) and user fees so income (personal and business) was no longer taxed AND no filing was required? Alleluia brother..... My thoughts almost to a tee.. Mulroney didn't fall down on the GST... he fell down by not getting rid of the PIT (interesting acronym eh!). (OK all that constitutional stuff didn't help either... :o) Of course the GST has an interesting expansion in the vernacular... Al
