It's a chicken-egg thingy. Which came first, the media feeding us yellow journalism and propaganda disguised as mainstream, in-depth reporting or the public wanting or buying nothing else?

Yes, the ABA, the AMA, and others, are professional trade organizations that have been highly politicized. However, what their head people say wields considerable clout. The ABA president's take on Ken Starr and his tactics rang true with me, his rarefied position notwithstanding.

I had a conversation with a more earth-bound attorney the other day. She too agreed with the specific points made by the ABA president in his speech and had a few tidbits of her own to add.
