I'm not aware of Morris's allegations about this $100,000 to "track them down and shut them up". It sounds wrong to me, if only because $100,000 would barely cover the expense of such an exercise.

Yeah, I'm a Democrat, but not an "inveterate" one. I don't think that they are angels or even close to it, but nor do I think that the Republicans as a group are agents of high minded principle, despite pretenses to the contrary.
