I don't believe it's "shorty", either. But I don't believe there is heavy insider selling. Could some be selling? Certainly. Is your analogy a good one? Yes. However, this IS a solid company, and its latest earnings report WAS pointing in a VERY SOLID upward direction. These things take a little time. Nobody said ALYA was a get-rich quick scheme.
I suspect some indirect insiders are selling...that happens all the time. Technically, I was an insider at my last company, and I sold a load of stock at one point. However, since I DIDN'T have REAL "insider" status, I didn't have to register my sales...and my sale increased the float. This on a NYSE stock! It happens....
I will continue to hold this stock. I like the company AND its prospects. I don't like the bashing. I don't get on anyone's thread and start bad mouthing a company...and anyone who does is a silly SOB.
If you want to say something negative, couch it in constructive terms, as I have here. But to bash a stock the way people have been bashing ALYA....well, that DOES benefit the short MMs.
