Barton: I infer that a film festival is like a products faire. It is a place for a film maker to show their productions, and for film distributors or theater representatives to see, purchase or license the showing of the film in their respective markets. Public screenings add to the glitz, may provide advance publicity, and a revenue source for the sponsor. Steve
