I guess some people were waiting for the Dateline segment, in order to sell. Disappointed now.

There must be a reason(s) why BMW did not put its cars into the sample mix.........particularly since NHTSA likes the ITS so much.

Wonder what it is ??? The BMW tapes show a vertical POLE side impact test, not a sled mounted ramming device. Maybe BMW did not like the test format, or maybe because the ITS has no impact on chest impact, and this was a chest-impact segment.

Anyway, the Lexus LS300 and the Avalon, I believe, are built on the same or similar passenger crush-compartment. Both tested out pretty well......5 stars.

Our SMU common stock, however, is only garnering 1 Star at the present.

Where are the converts trading.....and, have they become a good deal ??? mcd
