Doug, thanks for the clarification. To everyone: Wal-mart just held a meeting with Aqua 1, and has verbally confirmed expanding the stores carrying the product to include the entire west coast, and is interested in carrying it nationally thereafter. California is expecially good because it's the best market in the U.S. for beverages, and of course there are a lot of health-conscious persons in California, too. Also, it's nearer to Vancouver and AQB headquarters, which is good logistically. Also, equally good news, Target will be carrying it in about 30 stores (locations etcetera not decided by Target yet) in June. I imagine Mel didn't mean to be misleading, but his comment that the product hasn't been approved in Canada should not be taken to mean it was rejected. Aqua-1, as he said, is interested in the much bigger U.S. market. They aren't trying to get the beverages approved in Canada, because they aren't selling them there. Right now the PR person, Nikki, is on vacation, but will be back next Wednesday. Obviously, if you are interested in buying shares before then you might still want to put in a call first, but I'm just letting you know. It looks like things are continuing to move forward for Aqua 1 Beverage Company. The share price is low, and the volume is lower (real, real low yesterday and today, so far!) but I expect that as soon as they put out a press release on this, perhaps next week or the week after, we'll see it shine. |
