Hi Todd: and welcome! AIM could be considered "contrarian" insofar as being on the opposite side of momentum players. It is for this reason that our motto is: "Buy from the Scared, Sell to the Greedy". We also talk about lemmings quite a bit as well. Bud just mentioned in a previous post how the Market Makers would probably pull the market down on Friday in reaction to the Fed cut on Thursday. Well, that's exactly what happened! They tend to manipulate the lemmings emotions (Fear and Greed). We AIMers sit out here being less scared and less greedy; picking them off one at a time. I picked off a TWE lemming who was running scared just yesterday. Hey guys: I just got a great idea for an AIM T-shirt: "I Invested in the Great Lemming Leap!" Regards, Steve
