Hi Grabber,

I hope you'll be attending AIM 2001. Will you?

Frankly I humbly disagree with using # of share constraints within AIM.

Perhaps we should all be less HUMBLE (as I was in my previous post) and more PROUD to be AIMing our way to prosperity. The multi-media event which I had previously mentioned and which will be part of my presentation at AIM 2001, directly speaks to this issue. It might best be described as a bit of AIM propaganda. I hope you will be there to partake.

But, it is never used in classic AIM calcs other than to place your orders.

I am not really certain what is classic AIM. To me this would be AIM as described in the very first edition of Lichello's book. Never having seen this book I therefore don't know. If somebody has all three editions of the book it would be great if that person could present a short description of the changes to AIM (if any) over the three editions.

In any event what I am saying is that as soon as one includes something like a 5% minimum transaction size then one is in effect using number of shares to set the transaction price wether one knows it or not! If this type of restriction is considered to be part of Classical AIM then I disagree with your statement. Of course your statement would still be correct for practical purposes since one need never actually be aware of number of shares save for when one actually places an order.

See you at AIM 2001 I hope,

Barry
