It will be interesting to see how this unwinds. For me, what I care about is what interest rate I get on my cash. I can't find that easily on their web site. svb.com and Some on TV said many did their personal banking there via wealth management services. I can't find what rates they were paying either. All they say is "Competitive interest rates." svb.com I search the page for "Fiduciary" and came up blank. Perhaps they took advantage that people managing startups are too busy to search for better rates with a lower cost fiduciary... then again, the big banks rake in the bucks selling crappy products (often annuities) to the clueless who don't demand a fiduciary relationship with their banker advisors or learn to do it themselves.
