The polls have always overestimated Clinton's popularity. Only the Fox-Reuters-Zogsby poll has been close.

In '96 they had him beating Dole by @10 points more than he did when he achieved his 49% as the US's first two-term minority prez.

And this time the Dems will be wary of tapping the Chinese and their other illegal sources for campaign $$$.
