I have a few connections to PSIX and put some info on them in the below link. You're right, the tape is very compelling. As Jim did, I had my finger on the trigger yesterday but decided the risks are almost as compelling as the reward. Even though it looks good on the chart I'm looking elsewhere. I've made a few additional calls and the word here in the DC area from several people I've talked to is that PSIX mgmt is very poor over many years. I hope this is a buyout in progress but if it's not then look out below.

At one point PSIX was actually much bigger than UUNET in the DC area. UUNET had good management and killed PSI in the market, then everyone made a fortune when they sold to MFS which sold to WorldCom. PSI has made a mess of everything they've tried over the last five years.

But boy that chart looks good. If you want to play for a buyout it's probably not a bad idea either.
