CLINTON CELEBRATES WHILE DISSIDENTS DISAPPEAR

Well, the Chinese sure wasted no time in rubbing Clinton's nose in the blood of freedom fighters this week. Just before Friday's scheduled visit by Clinton to Tiananmen Square a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman was addressing the issue of the Tiananmen Square massacre. He said "The Chinese Communist Party and the Chinese Government have made a correct historical conclusion on the political disturbance in Beijing in 1989." So, there you have it. Crushing demonstrators under the treads of army tanks was a "correct historical conclusion," a conclusion that receives a tacit stamp of approval today from the so-called Leader of the Free world.

While Clinton parades abound China, the Chinese communists continue rounding up dissidents and jailing them. Clinton can do no more than say that he finds this "disturbing."

By the way ... do you know why Clinton is spending nine days in China? Because the Chinese insisted on it, that's why. The Chinese President spent nine days in America last year, and they want Clinton to spend that much time in China to show that he is no more important than their own leader. Remember, these people have the goods on Clinton. They have 50 people over there who fled to avoid testifying in various Clinton scandals. Clinton has to meet any reasonable Chinese demand. So, nine days it is!
