grasshopper, You demonstrate (notice the root word, demon) great dexterity in handing the Chile bowl back to me. Very impressive. I believed it to be in your capable hands and, plop, there's the Chile bowl in my lap. If you're teflon, I'm smeared with 'stick-em'. The mutual fund I was thinking about is, ready? The Chile Fund. Symbol CH on the NYSE. Sort of anticlimatic, so far, I suppose. The fund states some interesting facts about the Chilean economy in their N-30D filing with the SEC, dated 3/1/96. See Edgar for details. A few items worthy of contemplation-- Last year Moody's upgraded the sovereign credit rating which was passed on to the large companies... It is expected that the national infrastructure will receive investments of $10 billion over a five year period. Regards, TBG Paul
