It's too early to get as precise as I would like, but the only prior similar pattern set up that saw a large Sell was January 9, 1998.

The DJIA never went positive, the Low was negative 275.26 and the Close was negative 222.20

The sucker dropped like a rock from 9:35 to 3:40 EST.

To enhance the odds that Monday would repeat that sort of pattern it would be nice if the DJIA closed negative today. But I have not been able to distill that as a very likely event as yet because Friday has to give a clue first. In any event, if a drop like that seems likely by the end of the day then there certainly will be plenty of time to get Short. Even at the Open Monday would be fine.
