I was alive and remember the protests at SF State and UC Berkeley. I lived close by SF State where my father graduated and my mother graduated from UC Berkeley across the Bay.

Maybe I was too young to remember, but they did NOT shut down the roads but rather protested at the schools, city halls, DNC Convention, etc.
