Just heard that 'Speedway' is up for opening night consideration for Slamdance! They'll find out next week. For anyone that doesn't know, Slamdance is across the street from Sundance (literally) and happens at the same time. It features commercial, youth-oriented, 'cool' films, whereas Sundance is for 'artsy' films. MTV covers opening night at Slamdance.
