Joe Kernen as contrarian indicator.

As a short seller in Zitel I remember that fateful day in late 96 when he pointed out that with Zitel at 36 a share (pre-split), the implied market cap of Matridigm (a worthless Y2K scam) was 1 billion. Sure enough, the short sellers piled in and Zitel proceeded to go to 144 (pre-split) in the mother of all short-squeezes.
